In the last 28 hours, I have added 18 Facebook friends. I'd had 30, and now I have 48. Does that mean I'm popular, or is everyone else just as eager as I am to prove how fabulous they are?

I know, I know: I don't need dozens of Facebook friends to prove how fabulous I am.

But, it sure does help.
